WANT TO CONVERT time_of_last_update (SQL datetime) to a PHP DateTime variable?Įcho ''. Entering it is optional - if you don't do it, it will result in making PHP get timestamp automatically and display the current local time ( time () ). While($row = sqlsrv_fetch_array($query, SQLSRV_FETCH_ASSOC)) Syntax Rules Explained The syntax rules for entering a date are rather simple: date (format, timestamp) The timestamp part describes an integer Unix timestamp. timestamp The optional timestamp parameter is an int Unix timestamp that defaults to the current local time if timestamp is omitted or null. $query = sqlsrv_query($link, $describeQuery) Įcho 'UsernameFirstnameSurnameLocationTime of last Update' Submit a Pull Request Report a Bug date (PHP 4, PHP 5, PHP 7, PHP 8) date Format a Unix timestamp Description date ( string format, int timestamp null ): string Returns a string formatted according to the given format string using the given integer timestamp (Unix timestamp) or the current time if no timestamp is given. Note: date() will always generate 000000 as microseconds since it takes an int parameter, whereas DateTime::format() does support microseconds if DateTime was created with microseconds. Dibutuhkan format output yang diinginkan untuk tanggal sebagai parameter pertama dan integer sebagai nilai timestamp yang perlu dikonversi ke format tanggal yang ditentukan. Tip: Also look at the date () function, which formats a local date/time. Note: This function does not use locales (all output is in English). $describeQuery = 'SELECT username, firstname, surname, location, time_of_last_update FROM location' date ( format, timestamp) adalah salah satu fungsi tanggal dan waktu yang paling umum digunakan di PHP. The dateformat () function returns a date formatted according to the specified format. This seems really simple/common, but I cannot find any examples. Seems obvious to me coming from C#, but I get "Call to a member function format() on a non-object", and casting doesn't seem to hep me either. strtotime (timeStamp) (string to time) is what you want to convert into a unix timestamp. The variable time_of_last_update in the database is of type datetime, and all I want to do is really print it out in the table (below) but ideally I would like to know for future reference how to cast it/convert it to a DateTime type in PHP, to then use the methods on it such as ->format etc.
